Hi my name is Kelly and I’m a local girl from Margate who loves all things creative, outdoorsy and homely. Good photographs are an investment, as a Photographer I believe it’s my job to photograph a feeling, to take you back to a time and a place, I strive to provide you with images you & your family will cherish for years to come.

 

I am a self-taught photographer with a hunger to capture all things creative. Photography is my life and as a teacher I’ve challenged this passion into my career starting primarily as an Art teacher and developing into a photography specialist at a local secondary school. However the urge for me to get out there and create my own work has always been something I’ve wanted to achieve, to prove to my students teachers don’t just teach they can also do.  

 

I strive for my work and the images I create to be affordable, unique in style and rich in content. I endeavor to create a natural, candid, informal photojournalistic style within my images, using natural settings and the out doors to compose this. With 2 small children of my own I know how essential it is to capture those’s all-important moments. However, the creative soul in me likes to juxtapose (contrast) this with a few staged shots that allow you to show a little character and personality. 

 

My aim is to capture the small things that no one else can see. So whether it’s a family portrait session or the most important day of your life, I always go above and beyond to make your images as personalised and as special as they can be.
